Arrive at Padang Airport

There is only one point of entry to get to the Mentawai Islands: Padang City airport. The best connection is from Jakarta (Indonesia), but you can also go via Kuala Lumpur or Singapore to get to Padang.

From Padang airport we can organise an airport transfer to the hotel of your choice at extra cost or we can recommend one.

2.

Fast Ferry from Padang
to the Mentawai Islands (Tua Pejat)

The next morning you will catch the ferry from Padang to Tuapejat. Ferry departs at 7am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and at 10am on Sundays. We can organise transfer from the hotel to the ferry at extra costs.

Arrival to Tua Pejat

Arrival to Tuapejat is around 10-11 am (on Sundays you will arrive at 2PM). Our crew will be waiting for you at the ferry harbour to bring you to Favela. If you haven’t paid in Padang and you are coming for a surf trip, this is where you will also pay your surf tax.
